Isn’t there any work over there in the UK these days?

From what I’ve heard I guess it aint too great, eh?

Well I s’pose things are kinda slow here too, tho’ I’ve managed to stay employed and stay busy.

Still, ifyera wanting to get an idea what employers are paying, you might try CraigsList.

Mind you, I don’t know what kind of immigration requirements you have to meet to get into Canada.

Hey well I am Canadian, and just been in London gaining experience-
however i left right after school and not sure if i can trust the stats provided by RGD.
Also I lived in TO, so have no support in BC.
As for jobs there are plenty far more then in BC, so anyone with a good portfolio should have no problems.

As far as art and design goes, I would have thought that London is a much better place to be than Vancouver.

I’d think that relatively speaking, it’s pretty dead here. Even marketers tell me that advertising/marketing brands isn’t that big a business here.

If anything is happening, it’s probably the gaming industry. However, Electronic Arts has been laying a lot of people off lately.

As far as creative jobs go in Canada, Toronto is the place to be, tho’ Ontario I hear is going through a pretty rough recession due to the economic dowturn in the States.

I think a lot of people like the idea of coming to Vancouver appeals to them because it doesn’t go down to -20 in the winter.
