Mimura: Japan-China ties will continue to develop
The leader of a Japanese business delegation visiting Beijing has stressed the importance of political stability in developing economic ties between Japan and China.
The head of the Japan-China Economic Association, Nippon Steel Chairman Akio Mimura, spoke to reporters in the Chinese capital on Tuesday.
Citing the Chinese government’s sincere attitude toward the delegation, Mimura said the brisk political exchanges between the 2 countries are producing results.
Mimura said Japan-China ties will not sour under Japan’s new government, and predicted the further development of bilateral relations.
The business delegation, including Japan Business Federation Chairman Fujio Mitarai, is scheduled to meet Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao on Wednesday.
