Looking for a family friendly outing to begin the holiday season? Over the last 24 years the Fraser Valley Gilbert and Sullivan Society’s annual musical panto has entertained literally tens of thousands of youngsters and their families. This year’s magical production of Aladdin promises to be the group’s biggest and brightest yet.

Will Aladdin save Princess So Posh from the evil Abanazar? What will happen to the Genie and his magic lamp? Join them, along with Widow Twankey, Wishee Washee, Swanki Poo and other hilarious panto characters, as they whisk you away to a whole new world of laughs, toe-tapping tunes, lively dancing and general panto mayhem.

Get ready to belt out the audience participation song, boo the villains and cheer for the good guys. Magnificent sets and beautiful costumes will have you spellbound as the talented cast take you on an exciting and colourful magic carpet ride.

Aladdin will be presented at the Surrey Arts Centre Main Stage theatre, 88th Avenue and King George Highway, from November 25 to December 6. Evening performances, Wednesday to Saturday are at 7:30 pm, with matinees Saturday and Sunday at 2:30 pm.
