1st Annual Canada Day Parade

Celebrate Canada Day in the heart of Vancouver! On Wednesday July 1, 2009 at 7:00pm, the 1st Annual Canada Day Parade in Downtown Vancouver will bring communities together to commemorate our nation’s birthday and to celebrate the greatest country in the world.

The 1st Annual Canada Day Parade runs from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The parade route starts at Georgia and Broughton Streets, travels east, then north at Thurlow to Pender Street.

Canada Day at Canada Place:
10:00 AM to 7:00PM - Canada Day Street Festival at Canada Place
7:00 PM – 8:00 PM- 1st Annual Canada Day Parade
10:30 PM - The Burrard Inlet Fireworks Show

Presented by the Burrard Inlet Fireworks Society in partnership with Canada Place and with support from the Department of Canadian Heritage and the Celebrate Canada Committee for BC, this free community celebration will recognize diversity, multiculturalism, strength, freedom and the bonds that connect all Canadians.
