Performing at Harrison Hall, the Jaybirds give their elegant bluegrass sounds new meaning. They have had two Canadian folk music nominations and have toured extensively with their original songs and traditional material. They are an acoustical power house. Together, their 5 piece ensemble makes for one of the freshest, band sounds on the folk and bluegrass circuit. The buzz around this group continues to grow as people flock to hear their music. Like the mandolist at it’s head, the group has a style and elegance, old fashioned yet new. Throw in a little humour, and their entertaining presence is hard to beat.

They take the stage at 10:30PM. This is a festival folks, come and be merry. Addus Tolly, known as the lonely one man band. He always feels sorry for himself and thinks you are a better person than he is. His music is the spirit of little bits of feeling sorry for himself. Poor guy, full of self loathing and laziness. Makes me feel like a prince.

Along comes Weathered Pines, folk music with a hint of rock and roll. This female fronted, four piece band is great.
