A random thought

Goverment bail out of our fincancial institutions is a the worst thing usa could have done? Where are we going to get the money when we are already deep in debt. Borrow from china or Russia? Really all that could be done is let the market recover on its own. And as a guy who leans towards the right in the political spectrum, there has to be checks and balances in our free enterprise system. YOu cannot have a complete free market system, otherwise you wont have a free market at all.
Unfortunately with the fledgling corporate domination in the market place, we have yet to learn that lesson. Remember the old mom and pop movie theatres, nowadays, theyre replaced by cinemaplexes owned by two corporations. Free enterprise? There is none. Average consumer is $9,000 in credit card debt. That doesnt sound like free enterprise to me, its more fraud and corporate corruption.
Treating the symptom will do nothing. And it will make the problem worse. We need to re-evaluate on our definition of what a free market really is. Unfortunately the goverment went down the wrong path, and its all down hill from here. We are not going to come out of this one very well.
