Definitely Australia, then followed by Canada. The least racist multi-racial country in the world is the USA.

um have u guys ever even been to australia?it isnt like a few decades ago anymore.. today, asians are becoming the majority over there more so than u would believe, at a rate like vancouver...there is hardly any outright racism over there because well, how often can u lash out when like asians are everywhere?

my asian friend went up to australia and engage a conversation with a white australian,and the guy wouldn't even look at him in the face,showing hatred towards him and his race.knowing that,its safe for me to say,australia is much racist than the usa

i've heard some similar anecdotes.
there's a thriving white supremacy movement in australia, less so in the major cities of course.

i dont know if you remember, but there was even a big parade/convention celebrating it a couple years back. it made the news here too. i wanted to stick a kiwi up the asses of these people so badly.

its a no brainer..........In Australia they still call greeks wogs........meditteranean people are not even considered white by many.....as for them white means blue eyes and blonde hair..............while in the US they even have white and non-white hispanic cateory in the census.

I saw one Australian guy commenting in LA that dark haired people who look meditteranean are considered white in America........the second time i heard the same comment was here on DV on the greek thread from a Vanocuverite. So yeah definitely Australia and then Vancouver.

Australia is more racist because a lot of white people fled britain and went to Australia in the 50's onwards and are still moving there because they didnot like coloured immigrants coming to Britain. Interestingly, a lot of these people also moved to Vancouver.........and are now fleeing this city in record numbers.

Why is it that white countries are always criticized for being "racist", when white countries are doing all the ethnic immigrating? Japan has virtually no immigration, neither does China. Japanese also have a special word for "white foreigner". Let's compare white countries to some asian countries shall we? Who is more racist?

Seeing as I'm from Australia I'll just say this. You're getting this racial image from Australia from what? Stupid riots you'll see from the media, Come on Australia can be quite racist yeah no doubt but it depends which racist part we're talking about. If you're talking about the racism against aboriginals then it is a little more complex than you'll understand i'm from the west coast of Aus in Perth and I really never cared where people came from it's just that the majority of aboriginals are against you I got jumped alot when I was in my teens and I've jumped them back with mates it isn't right I hated doing it but thats the way it was. As for the whole asians/blacks/mexicans/maori's ect most of them get along with everyone else I've got alot of maori and italian mates. 

Also I guess it's like every town where you get certain racial hate you have to be from there to understand how it works not how the media puts it. Seeing as the people who report it are usally rich yuppi pricks I doubt they would ever understand what it's like. As I said before I don't agree with it, you just need to understand.

I have to say that as a person of colour (African, Jamaican, White, East Indian) i sometimes get it from everywhere, i mean i have travelled around alot of the world and i have experienced/felt/noticed racism/predjudice along my journeys!
I was in Hong Kong several years back and i would get stared at by the locals like i was some freak of nature, it was a little un-settling at first but then i guess u get used to the stares, it took me a few days before i even saw another person of colour (even tho there is a hugh East Indian community there) and that was because i had to go back to the airport to meet a friend who was flying over...
I have also been to the states a number of times and different parts make me feel different things, the West coast is where u feel ur colour more simpoly because it's segrigated there while the East coast to me at least seemed to mix more....
Canada is also a country i have felt my colour more so than other places, i have been to Calgary, Vancouver, Banff, and Montreal, i would say ion Montreal i felt slightly more relaxed due to a more cosmopolitan vibe and a good mixture of colour, Vancouver is a beautiful city and the people are generally friendly but this forum is showing me a side i have never really seen too much of before altho i have known that it does exist...
As for Australia i have never been inclined to visit because of the many people i have come across in the past and the poor image they give of themselves as a people and a nation...not to say all are like this but the term "once bitten twice shy" comes to mind, i would say that from my experience Australians come across as more racist but then as i tend not to mix very much in that circle it may jus be my opinion...

I can't comment on Australia, but Canada is way more racist than the US.

Racial strife is a way of life over there.  Even their different white immigrant groups are attacking each other.

Here is my observation, and by no means am I generalizing all Australians. I have met some really nice Australians and love that country.

Australia is like a one big South (USA). Most people are not racists but conservatives. They are afraid of changes and fear immigrants. They fear loss of Australian identity and values. Lot of Australian youth tend to adopt these conservative values from their parents and grandparent. Thus, the Australian youth also tend to suffer from a fear of other races and quick to stereotype you if you look different or talk with an accent. It is common in Australia to see young white Australians completely snubbing their non-white counterparts. This is evident in schools, universities, and social life. As a result, a lot of other races feel pressured to become perfect as per the standards of the whites. They try to act and look like white Australians. This is all done for the sake of acceptance in society. It is very common in Australia to see locally grown non-white Australians to date and marry whites. They do this to feel Australian and prove to the society that they are very Australian.  
There are also tension amongst other non-Anglo Saxon races within Australia. For example the Greeks might feel that they are more westernized than the Lebanese but since both races look similar, it is often the Lebanese who commit crimes and stuff yet the Greeks get stereotyped into it. Hence, Greeks will openly show dislikeness towards Lebanese …. Then the Italians think they are better and more westernized than both Greeks and Lebanese and so on….

That sounds like Canada, puzzle.

You know the funniest thing about the kind of foreiners who try to preach about Australia? It's that none of them have ever actually been to Australia. The first thing you retards need to understand is that Australia is nothing like the myth. The reality is far more interesting and much more impressive than most countries. If you don't believe me just come and visit.
As for the racism. Yes, there are a few arseholes who pick on immigrants. But they are few and far between and not confined to Anglo-Saxons. So what? Boo hoo. That's the case in every country on earth. It's just part of being an immigrant.
As for whether Australia is more racist than the USA. Bwahhahhahhah. You wont find photographs of lynched negros or appartheid signs or slums full of blacks and hispanics from Australia.

We should all just stop being racist towards each other, and embrace all ethnic cultures and customs.  Only then can we all truly exist as one.  C'mon people, worldwide peace and love IS attainable!
