Why Canada sucks, let\'s see:

Ridiculously high taxes, lack of economic activities (no job unless you want McJobs), locals are racist and ungrateful for immediate cash infusion by immigrants, climate is too cold (10 months of Winter?), no culture, no TV show, no canadian products (who buy maple syrup except tourists at the airport?), homeless problem, no army, no technology, national airline going bust, national railway sucks, ...

Okay..since none of us can change any of those things, how about posting some GOOD things you like about Vancouver.

Bi†ching about things you can't change is unproductive and, really, you're just looking like a pessimist who's high-maintenance impossible to please.

Yeah, try to focus on good things...otherwise you'll never be happy, deary. :)

good things about Vancouver? for me...

the 10 beaches.
the green plants all year round.
the lack of smoking in restaurants/bars.
the diversity in culture!!! (food / events / etc.)
the ability to live downtown and not need a car.
the government and my workplace recognizes my gay marriage.
the ocean is a stone's throw from my apartment.
Mountains are a 15 minute drive away.
I'm never far away from a coffee shop.

That makes me laugh (actually I should cry?)

-stable economy? Yeah, when there is nothing to speak of.
-Low inflation? Same as above
-How you define standard of living? All your money goes to taxes, you have what left?
-pollution free? Check out the ozone, sunlight effect on skin cancer. industry waste and dumping ground for USA garbage.
-resource? they own by the americans. This is not saudi arabia or kuwait. People get nothing from resources here.
-government? They take care of themselves with \"monster\" salary, bonus and pensions.
-stable society? boring and behind, you mean?
-clean human rights record? Tell that to native people among other colored people
-ethnic majority showing superior moral examples? You mean the Nazi ideals about someone being Master race ... yup you do.
