Is Foxman gone, the CFUN webpage doesn't have his pic anymore. Different people on in the morning yet claims that he's only away sick. Anyone with insight? Not that anyone listens to CFUN.

They have a update on their page in regards to Shane Foxman,
I am going to miss him, he was great to wake up to in the Morning. Now it is going to boring again, I am not going to listen to CFUN, only the Coast to Coast program. :angry

I'm glad that they're honest with the listeners....on Friday they said he was sick and would be back. I hate liars.
Shane was horrible and I'm glad he's gone. I'm not sure Mark Dreschian (sp) and this Kate lady will make the cut. THey're certainly not Jenn and Joe (who are just simply a fabulous team)

I listen to CFun in the morning when I drive into work (one hour) and Jenn and Joe on the way back (one hour) although I do flip around stations. Shane was very funny and I thought he was developing a great following. I really don't think that he quit as he would have had more respect for his avid listeners and would have announced it. Didn't you notice on Friday morning, the first morning without Shane that the promos and everything changed. They referred to the show as the CFUN Morning show....not the CFUN MOrning show with Shane Foxman. I know that CTV now owns the station so I was not surprised to see them use their talent. Kate was great with shane in the morning during their spots. I found it strange to hear last Thursday when she said that segment was over but they never said why. I really don't think Shane quit. He was fired as radio is a vicious business. They made a very stupid decision. He was great to listen to in the morning. As for honestly.....NO, somebody called Marke and Kate and asked where Shane was and Marke said he would be back next week sometime. I sensed the uneasiness. I like Marke and Kate but it is so different from Shane's program. THey are too newsy now. I don't listen to CFUN for hard hitting news....and why do they have news during the show and then have JOhn (I forget his last name) rehash the stories again. They are in a major state of flux and it is not pretty.

CFUN has been in a major state of flux for a long time. The answer is to stop replacing airheads with airheads. I guess they haven't figured out that the formula doesn't work.

loved filling out the surveys on CFUN. Sometimes they would have a question listing local celebrities to see which ones you would like to hear on the radio. Whatever happened to Rhona Raskin??????? She filled in sometimes.

What is Pia Shandell doing now? I had a love hate relationship with her show. It seems like they are going back to a news oriented station so Jenn and Joe need to look out. I think the entertainment trend is over.

No for Gawd sake, no Rhona Raskin. She needs to be off the air. i really like Jenn and joe - they're fun to listen to and just really make a good dynamic team. Shane was rambling, never did his homework, boring, and repetitive. I'm glad he's gone. As for the rest of the misfits. Dr. laura is just a snivelling old grandma who needs to be put out to pasture. She is so negative and i'm not sure why there are so many stupid people who lsiten to her and call in for the abuse. Someone needs to remind her of her nude photos from the 70s or 80s and put her in her place. Shane was an improvement over Pia (anyone would be) but Shane wasn't the answer. I think having a duo team like marke and kate might work but so far I'm not too impressed. Stu Ferguson, the listeners aren't stupid....if you're going to fire your morning host, then be honest with the listeners and don't pull this "Shane is sick" b.s. cause it'll come back to bite you in the arse.

I like a little bit of news 1130 a bit of qfm and clear fm in the morning but shane was good and refreshing. How can you say that he didn't do his homework or prepare? I don't get that criticism. He was good and I am actually quite sad that he is gone. What will Lincoln do? He phoned every morning.

I guess all his fans will miss Shane Foxman and Lincoln, change and growth is good for all.

He didn't read his news stories before going on air. come on. i don't get the impression that marke and Kate are the permanent replacments (yet!).

i hope david berner is not the next one...he's as good as foxman. i.e., horrible.

Doesn't Jennifer Burke host some cbc noonhour show? I saw it once.

Foxman was a fumbling disaster....I'm surprised that he lasted as long as he did. So far the replacements are just as bad with Driesschen doing his best to hog the mike. As bad as they all are, they were still better than the sorry excuse for a morning show on NW....just terrible.

Maybe they can talk Frosty out of retirement!

mr. cfun if you're reading this, please find us a good couple to host the morning show. this is your chance, don't screw up.

Oh My God. Frosty was HORRIBLE. I'm glad he's off the air. Neil MacCrae is the worst on the air right now. They need to find some fun morning people but figure out their format. Are they news focussed or entertainment and fluff focussed. I like Marke and Kate. WHy don't they just hire GLoria and Ian from CBC and have Shane sit in. They can share the job then meet up again at CBC for the supper show. That would be awesome.

who was the dude that was on with Joanne Mileos this morning, Patrick somebody. he was awful. I like Joanne from her news1130 days so i hope she sticks around. but she needs a better pairing. that guy was a stand-up wannabe. agree with previous person - Frosty was brutal.

You can always watch him on CBC sports. but i'm sure he'll be fired from there soon too. he just gets fired from everything that he does.

Foxman was fired for physically beating and verbally abusing his co-workers. He threw the C-FUN receptionist through a sliding glass door at the company Xmas party last December. She had over 130 stitches, a broken wrist and lost three teeth; a real class act.
