Do You Still Think The Future Will Be a Utopia?

Remember the 1950's idea of what the future would hold? Flying cars, all diseases cured, moving platforms everywhere so you don't have to walk, space colonies, smart robots, and shiny jumpsuits. Think Jetsons.

Well we are past 2000. Are you still holding out hope? I firmly believe that the future will be a dystopia, the anti-utopia. The powers that be, the illuminati, would like nothing more than to keep power even at the cost of halting human advancement.

If anything, I'd say humans have stopped advancing and are in a state of devolution. There have been advancements in science but only for the purposed of commercialization so that some technology can be sold to entertain or for the military for the purpose of killing.

Just like we talk about the neanderthals in a 'bad' way , our evolved ancestors will talk about us in the same way.

I'm generally pretty pessimistic about the state/future of humanity.

Just enjoy the time we have left.

Yeah, the state of the world is quite depressing.

I try not to think about the "future". I just enjoy the moment, and what I have now.

I think the future will be very similar to Star Wars and Star Trek as nerdy as it sounds. Maybe not 200 years into the future , but like , 1000 years...if the human race survives that long that is. Im still waiting for my flying car too...*checks watch*

First of all technology is light years ahead in secret hidden areas (think of THE GREYS). Second of all hurry up and enjoy what you have now. Mustang 300hp type deal. You have as of yet not been slapped upside the head with an quote economic unquote tracking device.

The future of human race is bleak. Our techonloy is heavily rely on fossil fuel. NO, we are far away from flying cars. Every year, there are more and more gasoline powered cars produced to meet global demand. More use of cars drives up global demand for oil. Furthermore, the energy that power the city comes from oil also. Oil is a limited supply but demand is greater than supply and this upset the balance. I believe we are close to peak oil.

Don't believe me? check latest oil prices ---> $126 per barrel

What will man do when one day there is no more fossil fuel?
