Leggings - aka stretchy pants aka stirrup pants (so 80's). People wear them for working out mostly these days or with tunic sweaters, etc. They are seen with dresses and skirts as well. And yes, they have been around for a long long time. The styles and colours may change, but leggings they still be.
Tights - pantyhose/nylons that are thicker. Can be made of nylon, lyrca or even cotton. These are usually coloured or patterned. Tights were really in back in like 97/98. Both of these leg wear aren't just for fat women or chicks with big legs or women who didn't save or whatever other crap was spewed above. What's in style at the moment tends to be worn by every range of woman out there. Leave the chubby people alone! |
