Don't know who did the actual calculations, but CKNW radio just reported that gas down near Bellis Fair mall in Bellingham, works out to 50 cents a litre Canadian....
We're NOT going down there anytime soon... This post has been edited by Superchecker: Nov 28 2008, 08:17 AM |

No, I'll show my work: $1.79 US X 1.234 (Exchange) = $2.21 CND $2.21 / 3.78 (with US gallon to Liter conversation) = .59 / litre Weird, I just checked the math again and you are correct, my math was faulted. This post has been edited by Goat Boy©: Nov 28 2008, 02:15 PM |

$1.49 a gallon here in KY land today.
It's funny how everyone is becoming complacent and forgot the high cost already here, sad. |

Where I live, it's the cheapest I've seen in over a year - currently 88.9 pence a litre. Glad I don't drive very much.

91.3 this morning when I went to work... 85.9 tonight on the way home... Where have you lived checker? Maybe to many afternoon shifts? They ALLWAYS have the price during working hours higher with 7-8c. After 18:00/19:00 then it goes to the lowest price of the day until almost closing time if the station is not 24h. Then goes up again next day. It's because all people are going to work and realise their tank is empty so they have to fill up even if they want or not. |

Yahoo.ca news article this morning pointing out that we in Canada pay like 30% more for gas than they do in the USA, Whatz going on they say.
Isn't that common knowledge? We have always paid more for gasoline than US consumers. |
