I Any other one here with parents of 2 different race? Im not talking about Half white American, Half white Canadian LOL
Im talking about I dont half Chinese half Swedish! Or half Indian and half Black! Half white Canadian and half Arab . . . Am I the only one who thinks Interracial marriage is wrong? A lot of people say since I'm a mix I should be OK with it but Im not!!! How about you? |

I know you cant help who you fall for, but Im for now Im thinking of marrying someone with the same mix as me, or marry someone in a race which I look like the most! |

The reason Im asking the question is that I never fitted in any group! I have met many other mixed kids who were in the same situation!
I never had any problems finding friends but at the end of the day many of them had something in common and I didnt! Even by my own cousins, even though we got along really good, but at the end of the day I was the mixed cousin! I dont know though! I grew up im a country were Multiculturalism is not as common as here and you dont see a lot of forefingers there! I know mixedkid born here in North America have it a lot different though |

Please never resent your origins. Be proud you're a hybrid.
My children are half white and half pacific islander. There has never been a time they talked to me about feeling uncomfortable, or feeling left out or not being a part of a group. They are still quite young but maybe we can learn from young people. They don't obssess over these matters and don't think twice about it. They just blend into whatever group they're in and have no inferiority complex or feelings of not belonging. It's just a matter of "hue" because we're really all the same beneath the skin. |

Its much easier for a chinese and white or a chinese and arab or an indian and black etc to mix when they are of the same culture. An asian, indian and black who were all raised in the same country pretty much follow the same culture. For example, the "minorities" who were born and raised here follow the same culture as the whites who were born and raised here. so whats the problem with them getting together? its only their outwards appearance that looks different and we all know the physical body doesnt mean anything.
