What do you get for your money as $2000 dollars is alloted to each low-income household to minimize the poor's carbon foot print? What do you get for your money well a couple light bulbs, a couple of window covering and a bit of chalking and a whole lot of advertising because of course they want to look good. How much saving does the little guy get well some households may recognize a big time saving of say $2 to $5 a month which will go unrecognized. Who is the winner well not the environment because the 17 million they are spending already produced more harm to the environment than we even want to get into as each dollar is connected to energy and environmental damage. So whats Hydro doing for the money well its going to get its workers to jump in its carbon producing trucks and run around checking all those meters to see if the poor are getting a break. The environment well the poor have the least carbon print and BC hydro is staying true to itself as it continues to ripp off those who can least afford it as they receive blessing from Campbell government while they do a number on the environment. I think the $2000 in the pockets of the poor to pay their hydro would have been smart so they could afford to eat would have been far more beneficial to the low income but then BC Hydro would not have it hands on millions of dollars belonging to the poor now how smart is that?
