It's true. They start off with innocent animals and move up to people. Hey Sageb1, get help, soon.

sigh ...I remember when I was growing up I used to have a pellet gun and would shoot little chickadees and other birds for fun. But the day I 'changed' I still remember so clear. Me and my cousin and uncle were walking around and saw a bunch of little birds flying around with each other eating stuff off the ground and they told me to shoot one of them. I really didnt want to though but I loaded up the pellet gun and took a shot. I heard a little 'twang' sound and knew the pellet hit the ground and ricocheted (sp?) off the ground. We saw the birds fly away and walked up to where they were and when we got there we saw a little bird on the ground. I shot it's eye out and killed it. I felt SO bad I wanted to cry but I didnt though. Even now thinking about it I STILL feel horrible for it. Thats kinda when I figured out Im a good guy.

not necessarily homicidal maniacs but most likely suffer from conduct disorder. Serial rapists are known to abuse animals (from an early age) and are incontinent

Well, Adolf Hitler and Heinrich Himmler loved their animals and were very kind to them. But it didn't stop them from invoking the final solution which killed 6 million Jews and starting a war which killed 50 million.

its true, if you learn that you can vent your excessive anger on animals, you soon move on to humans....but it usually begins with that someone vents their anger on you, like your mum or your dad....

Not true in the slightest. Although there are plenty of reported cases of animal abuse, it is not always the case. There are plenty of serial killers who never hurt an animal in their life. Likewise, there are plenty of people who hurt animals as children who didn't grow up to be serial killers.

To add, the OP has things backwards. Probably has no idea of the concepts of "correlation" and "cause and effect".
