Long story short my neighbors kids have a band in their completely un-soundproofed garage and it is driving me completely insane. They practice at all hours of the day and night and the parents are the hippy type who think that to make all that racket is their god given right.
So as the title says, are noise complaints private? I've talked to the parents several times and they don't really care and I'd rather not start a neighbor war here.
Thanks for any info you can give me.

I'm pretty sure it stays private but why not call the City to know for sure? They actually have a 'noise complaints' dept.

WTF is wrong my band, dude? So you don't have the balls to confront me man to man? You are pathetic.

The Police won't tell them who complained but you have to give your name when you make the call.
And Do Call, & Call, & Call, & Call make those people think-noise bylaw infractions aren't cheap.

You will get nothing done in February as 600 inside city workers from non-esential services are being lent to the VANOC. The whole planning and permits dept. is close for Feb. so other services might be out as well.
