Oh Surrey always in the news now. Racial profiling works. I was talking to a cop casually and he said Surrey is "busy". It was like "this is Surrey so you know we're pretty busy".

Monday, August 25 - 10:36:57 PM Bruce Claggett/Evan Kelly VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - Surrey RCMP say a man wanted for attempted murder has been arrested without incident.

Police say an arrest warrant was issued for 31 year old Shahzad Sardar Ali after his 19 year old ex-girlfriend was brutally attacked Sunday morning.

Around 9 a.m., the young woman was repeatedly stabbed in the face and arms and hit in the head with a 75 pound dumbell.

Her injuries are not life threatening.
