Station switched to all-sports today; many people fired. Thew new station will run mostly syndicated sports radio crap from the States.

That's too bad. Now I'll have to listen to only CBC. Everything else sucks.

geez why news all the time enjoy some rock with the fox or jack FM instead of hearing of depressing stuff all the time

What happened to the regular talk shows? Did they move the usual talk shows to a new station? This is major news. I listen to coats to coast am on 1410AM. What's going on, did they moved the talk shwos to a new station? F%@k sports, I don't give a monkey's ass who won some football game.

you can listen to coast to coast am on a Seattle am radio station am radio signals travel to vancouver and area

Whenever I'm not working on a weekday morning, I try to tune into CKNW 980 to listen to Philip Till, and then Bill Good in the mornings... I especially enjoy Fridays "Cutting Edge from the Ledge"-9am til 10am... Not much of a fan of Christie Clark after lunch, but sometime Jon McComb is worth listening to after 3pm too...

news1130 is OK for the latest news and traffic... But gets a little repetitive at times...

Hold it, we already have a Sports Talk Station - 1040 Am. Why do we need 2 Sport Talk Stations when 730 tried it and it did not work? Now 730 switched to traffic and who the hell listens to traffic 24/7.

And will Coast to Coast still air? Although I wouldn't miss it too much since Coast to Coast always seem have same topics in the last few years.

I HAVE TO LISTEN TO COAST TO COAST AM ON A FREAKIN HAMILTON STATION NOW. Nice going 1410AM! Listening to sports on the news is brutal enough.

Im pissed. I like talk radio.I could switch from 1410 to 980 when i got bored of the subjects.Guess we have to face up that AM radio is going the way of the dinosaur.And as for the FM radio stations..same 20 songs on a 24hr rotation yay!
