Hi everyone,

I am currently doing some research on the 3 major Coffee competitors in Vancouver. They are the following: 1) Tim Hortons, 2) Blenz coffee and 3) Starbucks. My question for all of you is:

Which coffee house do you think provides the best coffee? In terms of quality and taste.

Thanks very much for those who comment on this forum. It is very much appreciated. Hope to hear from some of you soon.

Cheers,

Business Savvy.

I have been a coffee drinker since university (~25 years) and have since become somewhat of a coffee enthusiast to the point where I buy specific beans and grind them before brewing at home on a decent brewer. Personally, I find that Starbucks makes the best and most consistent daily brews. The other coffee retailers other than 2nd Cup do not come close. For specialty coffee drinks including Americanos I would go with the specialty stores such as JJ Beans, Continental Coffee etc.

Blenz is my favorite. Better tasting coffee than anywhere, I've personally found.

Starbucks tastes like acid. They over-process.

Tim Horton's? I wouldn't know. I'm not going to wait half an hour for the same coffee I could get at a 7/11.

Starbucks is good for speciality coffees, ie latte etc However I find their regular coffee too bitter.
I like Tim Hortons for their regular coffee only.
Blenz I dont drink there.

Thank you for your input everyone. Very much appreciated.

If any of you could pass the word and ask friends or even perhaps friends of friends to answer to this forum then that would be great as well.

Best regards,

BSAVVY

I drink coffee from tim hortons mainly, i dont think i have ever had a blenz and i ocasionally have a starbucks but i think there popularity is mainly due to the "fashion statement" for young people of having a starbucks cup.

What about everyone else? Do you choose Starbucks due to its trendy fashion statement? Research proves that certain coffee drinkers would wait in line for 10 minutes just to get their daily intake of STARBUCKS coffee/Starbucks' ever so trendy - CUP.

Sbux ok for a big chain. I found a great place in Kerrisdale called MyCup. Americanos and espresso amazing. Tim Horton's just place bad.

I would say Blenz has no taste, Tim Hortons is bland and Starbucks is burnt, may I suggest Pacific Coffee Roasters!

You're correct about Starbucks & Tim Hortons but City Blenz has lots of taste. I don't think you've gone to the same coffee house that I go to if you think it has no taste.
