I can't believe some dude lights a fire and sets a camera in front of it and makes lots of money selling videos of this. So here's what I'm going to do.

I'm going to paint a wall and place a camera in front of it so people can buy a video of watching paint dry.

What do you think? Sound like a good idea? Maybe I can make lots of money at it.

Is it that old already? I never realized that. I remember my parents tuning in to it. I don't really find it that fascinating though.

There is two different fireplace logs videos. One they add a log every 20 minutes and the other they don't.

The video used to be on channels that were "off air" on Xmas day, or something like that.. The purpose of it ( I think) was to replace the "off air" blue screen with that annoying "eeeeeeeeeeehhhhh" sound.

It is a tradition to have it on during the winter season for a lot of people who do not have a fireplace. It does spark conversation due to its oddity.

i actually like it!

Ha, nice play on words.

Maybe you can loop someone skipping rope and then rake in the cash as an exercise video.

I just bought this USB battery charger that charges AAA batteries in like 2 hours. Maybe I could file this thing charging batteries and sell videos of it. Hope I don't have to pay royalties to Energizer though.

Everyone just watches it cause they're waiting for the mysterious hand to show up on screen when a new log is added in... lol!

I wonder how much that hand model got paid!
