Do you really need house insurance? Just think you can invest the money you save and if something happens you can shed a few tears on the news and people will donate thousands of dollars and you'll probably be better off than if you had insurance.

If you have a mortgage that means you owe the bank a lot of money. They will want their money and not give a crap whether or not you have the house. Thus to avoid financial disaster you might want to reconsider, Furthermore, in my case the bank required that we showed proof of insurance before we my wife and I were allowed to take possession. |

Just so happens, my sons apt was broken into last weekend. they ripped him off for all his electronics. Computer, Ipod, Digi Cam etc. As his insurance agent said "No one likes to have insurance until they need it" and he did have it so he is covered.
No home insurance is just foolish. I couldn't imagine trying to live in a tent in this weather should we lose everything and have no insurance. OP, Give Your Head A Shake! |
