"Paris Hilton's grandfather, Barron Hilton, announced he's planning to donate 97% of his $2.3 billion fortune to his charity, the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, to help homeless and struggling families in developing countries. Barron's heirs will have to share the remaining $69 million — which leaves Paris with a measly $5 million of her own."

I bet the party girls chin hit the floor when she heard that!

Five million isn't much to people like her. Although she may have a few assets already siphoned off courtesy of Daddy, I highly doubt that she thought that her inheritance was going to be 0.2% of Grandpas 2.3 billion dollar estate. No doubt her recent behavior helped him decide to do something constructive with his money, instead of leaving it to a Hollywood party girl to squander.

she and her sister actually make millions a year from a handbag business they have. It does very well in Asia. Remember, she also has modeling contracts, perfumes a book or so. Public appearance fees and a movie or two and a TV show behind her.

I didn't know about all that. I guess she isn't as lightheaded as she seems.

She rakes in an average of 6-7 million a year. It's not the end of the world for her by any stretch. Maybe a little slap in the face but it means nothing I'm sure.

She's the poster child of materialism.

paris hilton is a marketing machine,

you must admit that she is not at all stupid, she makes very calculated decisions, like airing her porn tape to elevate celebrity status

like you cant ignore the fact that she is somehow an a list celebrity for doing nothing in the arts department, and staying a list for more than 5 years, quite a feat in hollywood

Her parents are loaded...she'll live comfortably for the rest of her days, unfortunately.
