iexplore.dll is an important peice of Internet Explorer. Accept it next time it pops up. If you still dont trust it, run a virus scan.

Hello I assumed I'd already have the file, since I have been using explorer all along. Why is it specifically gmail which causes it to try to install ? Sounds suspect to me. If anyone can access gmail with ease, then I must assume I have a virus. Cheers and Thank You Hany |

Just accept it, it's not a virus. You're too paranoid, by the way. Attention: REGISTER / LOGIN to view the image! Paranoid about a virus installing itself on my computer and screwing up my files, stealing my passwords, and creating mass mayhem ? Guilty as charged ! I found this at the following site: http://www.file.net/process/iexplore.dll.html Important: Some malware camouflage themselves as iexplore.dll, particularly if they are located in c:\windows or c:\windows\system32 folder. Thus check the iexplore.dll process on your pc whether it is pest. We recommend Security Task Manager for verifying your computer's security. Anyway, I will follow this advice. Thanks for the help. |

it is Adware or Spyware, or a virus
You NEED to run a virus checker AND an adware remover, or two they are sometimes hard to get rid of, especially spyware like Zango try this one first, it is free, but you should try more than one because one program won't get rid of them all: http://www.lavasoftusa.com/products/ad-aware_se_personal.php |
