"A driver who called 911 was passed by the speeding cars as he came onto the Trans Canada Highway at Millstream Road. He watched them fly down the highway, until they were forced to slow down near the merge lane of the Old Island Highway. The sports cars twisted and turned through traffic lanes until they were free again to race down the highway into town. Stopped by a red light at Tillicum, both cars shot forward when the light turned green.
According to Saanich police, the driver of the GT did a brake stand, creating a large amount of smoke before it gained traction and tried to catch the Aston Martin. The driver of the GT also used a turn lane near Wal-Mart to pass on the right hand side." COOOOOOOOLLLL! Right on, man!! |

The V12 is very rare. 2) yea, I've driven faster on the Coq in my Hyundai. I get passed by other cars when I'm doing 160. To the driver of the Red Prelude - sucks to get passed by a old guy in a Hyundai when you're doing 190, doesn't it? |

Remember that high speed chase about a year ago that ended up with one person killed at Hillside? That was less then a block away from my home. There appears to be more of it going on....... Loved the cars they were in for this one. They are lucky they got off with a slap on the wrist...........Might not be so lucky next time |

The Fastest I gone is 120+ Mph, That's MILES per Hours, (193+ Kph). In of all things in a 1972 Dodge Monarachi Full size Station Wagon going up over the Port Mann into Surrey. Nothing like a big block 4 barrel 460 ci engine.

When I lived up north years ago...
I used to own a 1976 Dodge Duster with a 360ci Holley 4 Barrel That car would be doing 70mph on the open stretch of highway in a mere 5 seconds Top speed was probably around 120-130mph Driving Hwy 97 on the straight stretches of hiway.. you could maintain those speeds for miles Those were the days |
