There is nothing new in DV to talk about that hasn't already been discussed in hundreds of other forums out there.
How a forum flourishes also depends on the background of the culture that is willing to recognize and not totally supress the flaws of it's patrons. Extreme censorship has proven to be the archilles heel of some websites that were once popular.

Where is the extreme censorship here? You do not have to walk on egg shells around DV, just stick to the format. You want to talk about your dislike for other races then do it without hate. Discuss it; don’t spew it, it’s better received when someone can understand why. The law of Canada and the US are not to be ignored because we think our right is to say whatever we want. So you dislike someone because of the color of their skin but what we do not want on the board is those who want to use this site as their own personal hate forum. Censorship, how about freedom without anarchy.

I never said there was extreme censorship in DV. I was just referring to my observation in other websites that have since declined in the volume of traffic since extreme measures of censorship were implemented.
I express my dislke for a website by simply switching to other websites that cater to more modest means of freedom of speech. For one, I myself don't like breaking the law on the freedom of expression in ether North American countries. I ocassionaly bend those rules only when the situation calls for it. (only a handful)
The format is good. Since this website is in transition, it will need to adapt to the changing trends in the internet community.

Here's a website that was once had similar problems DV has in their "early" days--> www.vwvortex.com
They have a good format of "something for everyone" topics listed there. ( similar to the DV slogan)
Maybe this site can learn from their experience.

1. How can you increase traffic?
2. How can you bring back so many who left?
3. How can you make DV a thriving, fun place again?

Those are the issues that need to be addressed.

There is a solution and I will address those concerns.
