This forum was great until they changed the software. What a shame. Most of the moderators here don't understand either.

This forum was great until they changed the software. What a shame. Most of the moderators here don't understand either. I understand how you feel, but I really think that's only a very small part of it. What makes DV tick is the posters. There have been better times, and there have been worse times, but the fondest memories each of us has of DV, has more to do with WHO was there at the time. Unfortunately, those things can't be frozen in time, and are subject to change. Believe me....I think I can safely say, that ALL the moderators understand. |

This forum was great until they changed the software. What a shame. Most of the moderators here don't understand either. The old DV's software was outdated. I'm not a programmer, but apparently it was becoming troublesome... And the old DV had its share of problems also... Constant handlejacking was a problem, as well as other issues. Remember 'i like kittens'? Well, I eventually didn't like kittens anymore. There was a few times also where I'd taken the time to write up a lengthier post, only to have it magically disappear... (Not a mod delete, but some flaw in the software). And the mods here now seem to have a better understanding with each other regarding the rules, and how to apply them consistently, than they ever did. On the old DV it wasn't uncommon for someone to post away for hours with one mod on duty, and then another mod would come along and instantly ban I.P. addresses and delete material... The level of 'consistency' was quite poor at times. This is not as much of an issue here lately. So with that being said, I liked the old DV also, but it wasn't as trouble free as some would like to remember. |

The racist BS has to go, as did the pee pee and poo poo threads. The only way to do it is to get rid of unregistered users.

No movement, lowest viewer number ever. Trolls are necessary? unregistered users necessary? ...then why did you register? Why do you care if all you're doing is complaining? It's very kind of you to care about this website. Thank you! Attention: REGISTER / LOGIN to view the image! Why not start a nice thread and see where it goes? |

Guest is functional again? For 12 hours you actually had a good idea there. Now we're back to mass stupidity. Sorry - you make too much work to wade through miles of garbage to respond to the few intelligent posts.
