Anyone know how to go about or what it costs to get a police record check?

Depends what you need it for. If it's for volunteering, it's free. If it's for work, it's between $20-35 depending on what police service you to. You can get them at any police station or community police office.

The rcmp are the cheapest, VPD only does then at certain times down at Main Street

easy as pie. go to the cop shop, there are various forms, pick the one for police check , fill it out, pay them and await the results. ( main cop shop downtown)
Did that when I subcontracted for the government. nothing to it. |

vpd charges $65 and are open 8-5 at the main and hastings location
rcmp 35 or 40 can't remember. you can go to the heather st location. |
