McCain erases Obama lead McCain erases Obama leadRepublican Sen. John McCain has erased Sen. Barack Obama's 10-point advantage in a head-to-head matchup, leaving him essentially tied with both Democratic candidates in an Associated Press-Ipsos national poll released Thursday. The survey showed the extended Democratic primary campaign creating divisions among supporters of Obama and rival Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton and suggests a tight race for the presidency in November no matter which Democrat becomes the nominee. McCain is benefiting from a bounce since he clinched the GOP nomination a month ago. The four-term Arizona senator has moved up in matchups with each of the Democratic candidates, particularly Obama. An AP-Ipsos poll taken in late February had Obama leading McCain 51-41 percent. The current survey, conducted April 7-9, had them at 45 percent each. McCain leads Obama among men, whites, Southerners, married women and independents. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080410/ap_on_...al_race_ap_poll |

John McCain has not been looking well lately, he is going to die very soon. My guess is sometime in late June or ealy July. I believe it will be his heart. many former POWs have organs that just give out later in life, many doctors attribute this to their time spent in captivity.
So what you are saying is that Huckabee will be he next President of the United States? |

You may get mental satisfaction out of calling them retarded, but they are still the world's only super power! Of course, no one can predict the future. |

Look at his mom who is in her 90's, she looks great for her age! I would rather have knowledge, experience and wisdom in the Whitehouse than little boy Obama and power hungy Clinton. |

If he should become the next President, it will just speed up the total implosion of this fascist theoaracy -
why anyone(Democrat) would want the job of being president of this dying empire, and the economic disaster occuring now, is a mystery to me. Aside from power and ego. |

"Against McCain, Obama lost ground among women — from 57 percent in February to 47 percent in April. Obama dropped 12 points among women under 45, 14 points among suburban women and 15 points among married women.
He also lost nine points or more among voters under 35, high-income households, whites, Catholics, independents, Southerners, people living in the Northeast and those with a high school education or less." LOL... looks like all the scaremongering about Obama being a "Muslim" and showing him in a turban worked. Attention: REGISTER / LOGIN to view the image! |

What makes any of you think that the election will be fair, untainted and democratic?
Whoever has the most money will decide the winner. And look for a nice, convenient "terrorist" attack sometime in the late summer/early fall. |

McCain is a very balanced and realistic candidate compared to the two democratic socialists, Obama and Clinton.
McCain realizes we can't pull out of Iraq, it would be a mess! McCain realizes we spend too much in washington and need to clamp down, McCain realizes we cant kick all the illegal aliens out, they need a guest worker program and McCain is the REAL candidate who would bring the democrats and republicans together. Obama is all talk and no game, while Clinton is the most hated woman in America, she will just divide the nation ever more. |

I agree that a US withdrawal will make a mess but there are many other options to continuing an illegal and exploitative colonial occupation. Obama is likely all talk Clinton is as owned as McCain or Bush As for balance and leading he US in the right direction? HAHA Good luck with that. |

Though I am not an American, my views are that the Republicans have always been more "militant" than the Democrats, and may need to be in power in America with the present onslaught of Islamic terrorism. I remember the satanic Ayotallah Khomeni released the American hostages held in Iran when the Republican President, Ronald Reagan, took office, for he knew that Reagan would not hesitate to invade Iran in order to release the hostages, unlike the feeble good-for-nothing previous President, Jimmy Carter, who was a Democrat.

Why do you losers keep saying McCain will START the 3rd world war? It is already going on. He may simply extend it but not likely to start something which is already ongoing.

Why do you losers keep saying McCain will START the 3rd world war? It is already going on. He may simply extend it but not likely to start something which is already ongoing. It means he will take what Bush started and make it 1000 times worse. He won't only bomb Iran, but also antagonise Russia and China, to the point where we may have a real World War 3 on our hands in a few years time. |

While it is one single event, thus not diffinitve in itself, the precise timing makes it glaringly apparent when Iran returned the hostages, after holding the hostages and . After 444 days of peeing all over Carter, at the very moment (literally) that Reagan was being sworn in, the Iranians loudy announced the plane was clearing their airspace into international space (yikes, Carter is out - Wait Attention: REGISTER / LOGIN to view the image! Reagan!!! , we ain't got em!!!). Just a point in passing, peed on peanuts Carter is meeting with Hamas leader in Syria Attention: REGISTER / LOGIN to view the image! Bless Cox & Forkum |
