It is too crowd even on a Wednesday night.
In Richmond Riverport, all the evening IMAX showing of Dark Knight is sold out.
Many of the digital showing of Dark Knight is sold out even on a Wednesday night.

I would recommend seeing Dark Knight once the crowds thin out.

Agreed, maybe it's really a good movie, I Liked Batman Begins

The funny part dark knight got arrested after the joker overdosed and died.

Dark Knight was quite entertaining. The acting is superb and it actually has a solid storyline - the 2.5 hours moves along quite quickly. Heath Ledger's performance easily lived-up to all the hype. Go see it!

Dealing with the scourge of Gotham City is a stressful job. So what if his outlet is to beat on his mom and sister every once in a while.

He was released from custody and didn't face any charges (one of the perk's of being Batman).

Very well, think I am gonna see this weekend or maybe next. I like when sci fic/action movie has good storylines and not just out of logic/clueless moving pictures of great graphics and effects.

It's hard to see/imagine this man beating his own mother and sister and starred as Batman hero.. if I were a kid I'd be disappointed.. though, of course he is rich and bailed out ..

All the attention Heath Ledger's been getting just pushed Bale more and more into the background which finally got to him and he wanted to remind the world he's still alive.

ahah, in a non decent way, I thought he was a good actor and probably still do, I would judge later after I see the movie. A lot of movies to see in the summer, so I am happy..

I never understood how Russel Crow got famous though, and was also a big trouble maker,

I miss the good ol dead superman..

I liked Hellboy for what it was, but the Dark Knight was blah, Joker was a Joke, Hannibal Lecter would have been a better name for him.
Whats with the Batman, EReRr, anybody have any Lemon Mint Throat Drops, let me guess the suit was to tight on his neck.
The worst thing is more than half of that long nightmare could have been cut out without loosing a thing.

I know, I even felt bad for him, it's like someone told him not to do anything in the movie. he didn't know what he was doing, he wasn't doing anything in the entire movie, as if he doesn't know what to say / how to act anymore?? WT?? ... Joker was a joke.. i preferred the prof from silence of lamb..

Wow, what a blalanced and knowledgable opinion. LOL

Batman was the best action movie we've seen in quite some time. But hey, your opinion must matter for something right? I mean, nevermind all the rave reviews the movie's received so far and the fact that it's smashed nearly all box-office records, save for Titanic.

FUnny how you get your panties in a knot when people say Michael Phelps is ugly but then you go right ahead and accuse Maggie Gellenhaul, a phenomenal actress as being ugly

he isn't bad, not great either. it's a dramatic role, no so much depth to it, any drama graduate can pull it off, if not better than heather..

But then again, what more should one expect from someone who thought Hellboy 2 (one of the worst, most campiest action-hero movies in history) was a good movie.

She is ugly, that's my opinion alright? Even Katie was way better least cuter than her in the first movie, Batman begins is a wayyyyyyyy better movie, than this overrated one, most of the plot were confusing the script weren't the best, and don't let me start with the acting.

You obviously have no idea as to what entails good acting

Do you even know what "depth" means when referring to an acting performance? Are you familiar with the term sensory?

He is a joker, obvious and dramatic, his background was abused twisted child, he isn't compose of good and evil, he isn't that complicated, he wants to be as creepy as possible, but he isn't that creepy, he is very predicable, very easy to understand.

Well you're entitled to your own opinion no matter how jacked-up it is. Even Roeper and his guest admitted that Gillenhaul was a significant upgrade from Katie Holmes.

I guess if the Down-syndrome look is your think, Katie Holmes could be considered attractive. As far as acting ability is concerned her acting was completely unconvincing so much so that it damaged the integrity of the film. Her reactions to everything were contrived and it was difficult to ever get the sense that she was actually in character rather than simply reading her lines verbatim - if anything, her acting lacked depth.

Part of what made Heath Ledger's performance so amazing was the fact moreso the subtleties of his acting rather than the more over behaviors. If anything, it was the epitomy of depth and he brought charm as well as darkness to an otherwise over-the-top character. He definteily made this JOker more believable and convincing to anything that's ever been done before in a Batman film.

You missed the point, his Joker character was more suggestive than over-the-top (e.g. Jack Nicholson's take). This Joker wasn't so much of a caricature as the one in Tim Burton's film.

I never got the notion that he was supposed to be creepy either, just a disturbed individual - at times quite Hannibal lectureish in demeanor; he pulled it off well, almost too good. If you saw the film again perhaps you'd pick up on the various dimensions to this character. But then again, I'm probably overestimating your intellectual capabilities.

Always amuses me how people like to say "everyone I know thought....this/that" Who cares! heh

Like their opinions ever mattered (evidently they do in your world).

The movie was phenomenol. Despite the few people you know being disatisffied with the movie, rest assured there are countless MILLIONS who loved it!! So if we want to go by popularity contests, the people have spoken! Your friends represent the dismal minority, get over it!

what were you expecting? More caricature, over-the-top performances to the likes of Jim Carey's Riddler?

Heath's Joker had grit, he was charming yet very disturbed (though not scary). His mannerisms and demeanor were nothing short of amazing as there was never a moment where he broke character - this is an extremely difficult feat to pull-off even for the most seasoned of actors
