For a couple of reasons. You're a fairly busy poster when you post, and having a couple of fairly large animated gif's as a sig is a little "overkill" when they appear down the pages. The main reason though, is there is no cursing allowed in sigs. One of the gif's did display foul language, which again can become a little "overkill" when that sig follows around your posts permanently.

Interesting Arrow because I asked ydv to do the same thing several weeks ago for the some thing and she ignored it.
