In India, most Hindus consult astrologers before they get married. So if astrology was a true science, no Hindu marriage would be a failure. When I was in India, I used to work for a certain newspaper. Every week, to keep our readers happy, we used to print a column: What The Stars Foretell". But what our readers didn't know was that we hoodwinked them weekly by going to our archives, and printing what appeared several years ago, which they would never be able to detect. In short, astrology is a pseudo-science.

CG, I found my sun sign is a bit off/inaccurate with its character description but I have moon and venus in Aquarius and the character traits described in published stuff seem to fit me to a tee. I never believe those horoscopes in newspapers/mags but they're still fun to read sometimes Attention: REGISTER / LOGIN to view the image! Astrology is more of a female interest IMO.

how can you predict your future base on stars ? or people made to believe they fit into certain type and act like 'what they are supposed to? ' Things like Scorpio's are all partially the same mentally? I can believe something like that. When the mother is pregnant during X time of year, they are eating different food, different lifestyle depending on the weather, more/less activity, etc. Things like this could potentially change the genetics of people, and change their temperament etc. |
