..so if I were to rent my Vancouver house out during the Olympics, would it make a difference if I included tickets to some events or not?

..by the way, has anyone looked into ticket prices yet?!

Opening ceremonies, best seats, $1,100 each
Men's Hockey, Gold medal game $775 each (best seats)
Figure Skating, Free Skate $450 each (best seats)

I went to watch the beijing olympic game(volley ball gold match)

tickets for best-seats was about 65canada bucks.

I think it would be a major mistake if you did rent, You would really have to look at teh people you rented to. I wouldnt trust no one in my house, even for just a week. Imagain the damage they could do and your insurance would go up. Not a good idea i think. Attention: REGISTER / LOGIN to view the image!

I have to agree... I wouldn't trust people in my house... Not only the damage they could cause but the things they could steal or pawn or anything... Unless you plan to pack up your house (or if it's rental property and not your home) I would think it's a bad idea too..

But it's all relative. They have t-shirts selling at the Beijing Olympic store for $10. I'm sure our t-shirts would be at least double or triple that. Who knows how much tickets and merch will be in London.
