John McCain is going to do this. John McCain is going to do that. I was disappointed, I was expecting a roast.

No. Politicians never answer questions. Opinions they give and you are expected to agree with them.

She is vacuous but so are a lot of her country folk. She did a good job of playing the " Simple ol hockey mom".

My goodness.
You guys missed the Canadian debate to watch a couple of potential US VPs? Come on now. I watched some highlights on the news and definitely she was cute as a button (MILF). She even got Biden smiling & chuckling. This must have disarmed him somewhat. LOL |

At least she sounded more like a politician this time instead of a beauty pageant contestant.

I'm saying again It was a questioning bee
Palin eyes kept looking down as if she was reading notes, and she acted as if she was already prepared to answer the question as if she knew before time what the answer would be. It wouldn’t surprise me if she I already knew the questions before time and was well rehearsed to answer. Biden on the other hand did not attack her, Biden was going on has if he was debating with an invisible McCain. Biden was very nice to Palin. It really was not a debate much like a spelling bee, but with questions. Palin mentioned Biden’s name maybe about four times some where in the 90 minute questioning bee. Biden attacked McCain throughout the questioning bee. Palin tried to attack Obama but Biden kept reminding Palin that McCain had voted against the troops getting funds also. Biden had an answer to all of Palin questions and untruths. Biden look very confident, strong and vice president like. Palin looked like a school teacher, who bit off more then she can handle. Palin did average and there was no debate. |

You guys missed the Canadian debate to watch a couple of potential US VPs? Lets face it.. Who the Amerikunz elect in has a much bigger impact on our country than who we vote in! For example.. I cant see anyone we elect in, starting a war with another country for their natural resources. But if America does it - we have to join in.. etc etc. |

Biden was very nice to Palin. ...Yes, he was nice to her, careful never to attack her personally or her Great State of Alaska, nor even her policies as governor. Almost patronizing. Actually, I think he totally avoided doing that to appear that he was one with the Ordinary Guy in those places. He could have destroyed her, but never did. I think it would have made him look bad and like a mean bully. You don't want to do that to a Mom with 5 kids. |

If there was ever any doubt about her being unqualified, that doubt should be more solidified after her performance last night. At times it seemed as though she had comprehension problems; rather than addressing the questions presented by the moderator, she persisted in going on these little diatribes against Obama and his policies and it was here where Biden shined. Rather than getting hot-headed and reactive, he simply refuted all her points to where it looked like the old teacher putting the overzealous student in her place.
At times it also seemed like she was trying to wrestle control away from the moderator at times to which I even sensed her (the moderator's) frustration. Sarah's answers were invariably canned responses and repeated campaign slogans. She sounds like G W Bush's protege (it's NUCLEAR, not "NU CULEAR" dumbass!). With that said, Caribou Barbie's folksy appeal is reminiscent of Bush's (the kinda guy you'd have a beer with), but all in all I think the American people, as intellectual inept as some of them may be, are clamoring for something far more substantive than they've had for the past 8 years. |
