Before I retire for the night I want to welcome you back, Truthseeker. It's been a long time. I'm happy for you and your date! As you know, I'm not in Vancouver but I've heard so much about the beautiful places there. How about a boat ride on a beautiful lake or one of those dinner with dancing on a boat?

Well, once you were so sweet to welcome me back. I did not realize then my absence was felt. Hah! I've been well. What about you? I see you have wonderful things to look forward to. I'm glad for you. Happy times.

Are you two into snowboarding or skiing? If so, try going up to Whistler for the weekend. I don't know if you count Whistler as lower mainland though... it's a bit of a drive

Well, there are so many ideas...
A weekend over in Tofino? Maybe "Storm" watching??
If you like casinos, there are so many of them now... And not just in the lower mainland... Many have great weekend entertainment too!
It's only running for about another 10 days, but the Whistler Mountaineer train is nice... Leaves N Van daily around 8am, about a 3 hour ride up to Whistler... have lunch up there, and then stay overnight or return the same afternoon... Mid May thru Oct, sometimes BC residents get a great deal too...
We enjoyed a real nice meal at the Boathouse (New West) last month... Or for an even "fancier meal", the Fish House in Stanley Park... It is cooler this time of year, but could even stroll around parts of the park too... Bring some nuts for the squirrels!
A nice walk through Deas Island park... Or the bird sanctuary out on Westham Island... Or Steveston village... It's Pumpkin Patch time of year... White Rock beach/strip... Deer Lake Park... Ride the SeaBus over to Lonsdale for lunch/dinner, There's a nice english place on the second floor of the Quay...
What about a mini trip to Vegas? Sometimes some GREAT deals at www.allegiantair.com out of Bellingham?? Also Reno, San Fran, Arizona too...

Cartman, this is your fault. You said the word hockey and when I hear the word hockey, I have to hear this song. Ha ha ha!

Take her to "Fright Nights" at the PNE...good opportunity to put your arm around her in a "manly, protective" kind of way. Then head down to the Pan Pacific and have a drink in the lounge while you listen to the piano bar. You get to show her your "Macho" side at the Fright Nights and your "Sensitive" side at the piano bar.

Good luck and have fun whatever you do.

Hell yeah! If you want a second date, there was a report done by scientist's that claims taking your date on a rollercoaster boosts the level of harmones that are responsible for making people fall in love.

WHALE WATCHING, there is a company out of Steveston that does whale watching tours.... I think it's like $100 a person for about a 4 hour trip...
Maybe just google whale watching...

Some people do like the stormy season, and head over to Tofino to experience the storms...
