I tried to about 20 years ago & checked out the immigration qualifications. They are so impossibly high for Americans. Only those with highly technological jobs are desirable, leaving me as a dime-a-dozen office worker out in the cold. And only those under a certain age (35? 45? I don't remember now.) are welcome, which leaves me out. So I'm stuck here & so are millions of others.

Many Americans will try to get into Canada regardless of who wins.

We want Obama to win, so the best & brightest people & companies relocate to Canada (or at least create an exit strategy from the US).

We don't need to burden our social assistance even more.

We only want the best & brightest.

They can always come to Canada as a business immigrant who is expected to make a C$400,000 investment or to own and manage businesses in Canada .
