At one time, there was a post office and service station on Douglas Road between Graveley and Grant Streets.

It looks like the Morton Park area was once a small community. I would like to learn more.

Morton Park was the subdivsion, west of Willingdon Heights. It predated Willingdon Heights, which was built in 1947.

I wonder if this part of Burnaby was once part of Vancouver.

Douglas Road used to be called Hastings Road.

If you study the older maps, I posted, you will find that Sumner Heights is now Brentwood.

Test comment. This was taken with a Panasonic FZ30 in Sept. 2006 at Granville Island.
