assistant manager is not a minumum wage job, Safeway, Superstore, costco, get about 40000 to 50000 grand a least.  I know what you mean, I worked for safeway before, so many people steal there

i know a guy that jacked about $100+ of stuff every time he worked. He made min. wage for 6-8 hours and made out with a whole lot else.

He jacked batteries and cds and other stuff.

some assistant managers make 40-50 K per year but the guys that just got promoted to assistant manager after 3 years of work (so he's probably earning like 10-11 bucks an hour) don't get that much. the wage isnt the big deal, its the fact that the nosy manager who thinks he's all-great has no fukcin clue that his assistant managers are THE SHOPLIFTERS!!!

i kno this cuz i used to work for IGA part-time and i was one of those guys stocking and at the end of the night the guys would "shop" normally and then sneak the stuff out the back door =). AND if ur a student who wants a job i suggest u get a job at these big supermarkets and become good buddies with the younger assistant manager so that he'll let u "shop for free"  (9 bucks/hour + $50-$100 of food/week)=> GOOD DEAL!!!

You are still stealing.....not so good deal. I guess you guys have already killed off that little angel that sits on either side of your shoulder and tells you not to do something :)

All this does is just increase the prices for people that really shop. It is getting to expensive now.

security guards are really not much better than a trained chimp.
if they blatantly follow me around i just walk up to them and say "hey you - what are you following me for - do I look like I am gonna steal something - am I a suspect or a customer huh ?"
works a treat every time then they dont follow you ever again and if they do you go to the manager and say "when I spend $$$$$$ (double the real figure) per year at your store I do it because I am a customer. Now if Einstein over there keeps following me around that makes me feel like a suspect and I will take my money somewhere that they treat me like a valued customer - get it sunshine???? do ya huh - ya get where I am coming from " Its at this point they will be ordered never to watch you again !

my friend is working in 7- Eleven store in Victoria. he is loaded with lots of work and less pay. he is asking how he can steal to get even. any ideas?

i just gotta say that grocery stores have all these cameras to watch for shoplifters but the avg shoplifter will take $5-$10 worth of stuff but the real ppl that shoplift are the employees who steal over $50 worth of food at once. this is why i laugh when the "security guy" follows ppl LOL try following the employees! best minumum wage job is being an assistant manager at a grocery store cuz u get the easy access to shoplift when ur the last employee at the end of the night.
