It's still a watered down version of what is needed.

Among it's many provisions is a requirement that every vending machine in the country must display the nutritional content of every item dispensed. Now what does that have to do with health care reform?

It is NOT a great day for Democracy, it has absolutely nothing to do with democracy.

Of course she literally has no idea (nor does EDHOCO) what is actually contained in that bill, but she knows it is a simply wonderful thing.

Even the Congressional Budget Office says it won't cover more than 2 million people that currently do not have insurance. 1.2 trillion dollars, to cover an additional 2 million people?

Oh yes indeed, simply wonderful - NOT!

The CBO says healthcare reform won't cover more than 2 million? Or are you making stuff up again?

Quote

By 2019, CBO and JCT estimate, the number of nonelderly people who are uninsured would be reduced by about 36 million

http://cboblog.cbo.gov/?p=403

Yup, you're making stuff up again. What a surprise. And nothing to do with democracy? Was the passing of the bill illegal or something? Nah, it's undemocratic because you doesn't like it. I'll tell you what's undemocratic: wanting 36 million of your fellow Americans to go uninsured simply because you hate Obama. Now that's undemocratic.

No I am NOT making anything up. You guys go to your crap sites, that tell you what you want to hear. Try going to the actual CBO web site, or perhaps to the Congressional debate.

But hell, why go to the source, when you depend on your lying ultra left wing bullshit!

It must be wonderful to live in fantasy land, where everything is free and taxes don't count as real money.

Keep something in mind. The CBO also predicted that Medicare would cost 5 billion dollars a year at the 20 year mark. They were only off by a factor of about 20.

PS: Having people aware of what they are putting in their bodies in terms of nutrition is an important part of healthy eating and staying well.

How is it possible that you can be this stupid? My link stating that 36 million Americans will be covered is straight from the Congressional Budget Office's web site! You couldn't even notice the "cbo.gov" right in front of your face?

The AARP (American Association of Retired Persons) and the AMA (American Medical Association) supports the House Bill for Health Care Reform.

AARP, AMA throw support behind House health care reform bill

PASADENA - Two prominent lobbying groups, the AARP and the American Medical Association, threw their weight behind Democrat's House health care legislation Thursday as a vote on the comprehensive bill approaches this weekend.

Democratic leaders, including President Barack Obama, championed the endorsements of the AARP and AMA and the second-ranking House Democrat predicted that the historic Affordable Health Care for America Act will be passed.

Consumers Union backs the House health reform bill
Health reform
With millions of Americans desperate for affordable, quality health care, Consumers Union has chosen to endorse H.R. 3962, the Affordable Health Care for America Act. This bill would greatly expand coverage of the uninsured and provide new protections for the insured. "Health care is a consumer crisis with its crippling costs, its unreliability, and lack of access for too many Americans," said Jim Guest, president of Consumers Union, the nonprofit publisher of Consumer Reports. "By creating a more secure, affordable health care system, the House bill goes a long way towards solving the crisis."

Who is against the House Reform Bill?
Maybe the heckler who said Nancy Pelosi will burn in Hell for proposing Health Care for all :)
