not long ago,I red the canadien with indian face article that was posted on this message board.It was suggesting that french canadian had clearly native american features.other people told me that french canadian looked just white as anybody else.now I dont know how to classified this ethnicity.are they white as people in europe or the states. are they mostly of european descent.im half french canadian by the way
for me its hard to classife them because many native american have white skin.

Most French Canadians have no native ancestry, just as most other Canadians have no native ancestry.

The ONLY certain way to find out would be to have a genealogical DNA test done. Looks do not necessarily mean a thing.

I think most of the people who were French and Native mixed (Metis) ended up having children with Natives or other Metis... so most Native canadians probably have some French in them, but most French are just French.
