I don't think age of consent laws apply to male or female teachers since they are in a position of authority. The age of consent is always 18 for people in a position of authority in usa anyways. Don't know about european laws. I knew of a guy who was dating his girlfriend's 17 year old daughter secretly because the age of consent was 16 and he thought it was ok. Turned out because he was her mother's live in boyfriend he was deemed to be in a position of authority and was prosecuted even though she was over the age of consent. The laws are complicated.
