She deserves an award for being married to the most annoying person on the planet for 19 years. I tell you, if you've ever seen this guy being interview he really doesn't know how to be off-character. He must have ADHD or something, he's seriously annoying! I'm surprised his wife never smothered him to death silently with a pillow as he slept. I guess she couldn't take it anymore...."irreconilable differences", huh!

She is Finnipino Half Filipino Half Finnish
Robin Williams and wife Marsha Garces Williams Attention: REGISTER / LOGIN to view the image! Yesterday, I read two news articles about divorce. One was about the divorce final settlement of Paul McCartney and Heather Mills which awarded the latter with $ 48.6 million and $ 70,000 a year child support. She was not happy as she lambasted her former husband, her husband’s lawyer for not giving her demand for $ 250 million. Whew. The other one was about the divorce between Robin Williams and his wife of twenty years–Marsha Williams. Yes, the blog title is right. According to Robin Williams , his wife is a “Finnipino because she is half Finnish and half Filipino.” He revealed, that her dad,(Filipino) Leon Pantaleon Garces joined the Navy.(Finnish Mother) He mentioned about lechon and his wife going back to the Philippines several years ago to be with her father. Reading the comments on this news/gossip article, I found some remarks very unkind to Marsha. |

In fairness to Marsha, during her marriage to Robin Williams, thye worked together both professionally and toward values they shared. In 1991, they founded Blue Wolf Productions; Garces produced “Mrs. Doubtfire,” “Patch Adams,” “Jakob the Liar” and “Robin Williams Live on Broadway.”
Together they also created the Windfall Foundation, a non-profit that focuses on education, health, the environment and the arts. Garces has particularly been involved with Doctors Without Borders and Seacology. When I was working with a non-profit in SF, the Windfall Foundation is one of the regular donors. One of the remarks of the commenters was why it took them so long to file a divorce for a reason of irreconcilable differences. I guessed, being divorced myself, that’s the most convenient excuse for separating from the spouse. When I filed the divorce in California, I also checked irreconcilable differences as the reason. |

There was no problem with religion. He is a Jew and I am a Catholic. He was not a good Jew
and I am not a good Catholic. He went to the St. Mary’s Cathedral, celebrated Christmas and I celebrate Hannukah with the family, even reciting the prayers during this season with his mother. We are still good friends and he still calls whenever he does not hear from me. What’s wrong with us? I am not a nagger. As I have said, I am not used to confrontation and he is the opposite. |

Hate to sound shallow, but it is the truth. Sure he is a funny guy and smart. However he is ugly as hell. Can you imagine looking at a face like that 24/7? I can understand why she would leave him.
It is the stark reality, in the end looks do matter. |
