I just saw this magazine that is published here in canada that was all in chinese, no english.
cant people see how wrong this is? The nerve of people like this who are completely oblivious to our language laws.
you talk about racism- this is a RACIST ACT. the sub-text says"we are only concerned about the chinese"
and who is publisher? SING PAO, owned by a hong kong billionare environment polluter named Li.

nobody is forcing you to read the chinese paper and nobody is asking canadian newspapers to print in ethnic languages. there are english magazines and newspapers to choose from. what's next whine about how chinese setting up thier own restaurants and not eating the greesy, fatning, unhealthy filth from wendy's, swiss chaley, etc?

you are so wrong- asian business has been trying to have foriegn language ads in The Sun and Province. There were alot of complaints so the issue faded away.
not satisfied even with having their own racist papers, they tried to push theie way into our mainstream papers.

The clear majority of Canadians have no problem with there being non-English publications about. Almost every country in the world have publications that aren't in the official language. Not only are you never going to change anything, you're being quite ridiculous.

So what about stores that sell Hindi (Indian) language newspapers... lots of stores import foreign newspapers and magazines... should that be banned too?
