Topics I've Started

  1. The New Yorker weighs in on the Olympics

    Posted 20 Mar 2010

Vancouver won’t be remembered as a great Games; it will be remembered for the senseless death that occurred before the competition even began. 2. I woke up on the floor, feeling hard

    Posted 20 Mar 2010

My beautiful elbows are raw, from trying to get back on the bed.

Apparently I was a bit too liberal (can there possibly be such a thing?) with the vodka last evening.

  3. Please watch video to catch killers of homeless man

    Posted 19 Mar 2010

His name was Thomas Sawyer. He sold flowers on the street. He did not deserve to die. (You'll have to sit through a commercial before the video starts)

  4. Harper slipping in the polls - no "Olympics bounce"

    Posted 19 Mar 2010

There is no so-called gold medal bounce for the Tories as Nik Nanos’s new “Nanos Tracking Poll” has the Conservatives in a statistical tie with Michael Ignatieff’s Liberals - Conservatives are polling at 34.7 per cent compared to 34.6 per cent for the Liberals.

  5. Today is not pie day; but it is Pi Day

    Posted 14 Mar 2010

Today, Pi day, is (month/day) 3/14 (.314 of course are the first three digits in the endless decimal numerals arrived at by dividing any circumference by Pi (or, by dividing its diameter by its circumference, which, of course, is the same thing.)
