I just sent an email to American Apparel, to become a model.

Hi.
I'd love to model for you.
There are a few businesses out there that sell men's hosiery, and in a rare case, actually sells only men's hosiery. I thought that you might like to get in on the action. Many men probably already enjoy your hosiery as is. I think that all you'd need to do is show some nice photos with men wearing it under shorts.
1 potential marketing opportunity is for breast cancer. You could encourage men to buy a pair of pink hosiery during the appropriate occasions to raise awareness of male breast cancer.

Maybe I could be your spokesman. :^D

I have good news!
I just came back from 1 of those American Apparel open calls. It was at South Granville. The guy didn't mind me wearing hosiery and shorts during the interview. He also said that as long as I wear American Apparel brand clothing, then I could wear shorts & hosiery while working there. We now know that at least 1 company will let us wear shorts and hosiery.
He also said that I shouldn't be surprised if I get a callback! I think that I got a job where I can wear shorts & hosiery!
[I'd like to add some keywords to this thread for searchability: pantyhose, tights, nylons, stockings]

I sent an email to Urban Rush, with the subject, "Fashion Trend For Men".

Hi.
I thought that your show may be interested in discussing a fashion trend for men.
For the last few years, I have been trying to bring the trend of shorts and hosiery into the mainstream fashion world. In other words, I want it to be acceptable for men to dress that way in public, in a non-fetishy way. I want to use trends, so that it would appeal to people, instead of using debate and/or scolding people.
There are men out there who have been given medical prescriptions to wear compression hosiery, so if shorts and hosiery were an acceptable mainstream fashion, then they would be able to wear it, as opposed to only being able to wear it under pants.
Another advantage is that it keeps your warmer than a pair of pants often times, because the pants move air around your legs, whereas hosiery keeps the air with it.
To know that it is acceptable for men to wear hosiery, see this article that talks about NBA players wearing tights. Kobe Bryant is mentioned.

I published my MySpace blog entries about my experiences of wearing shorts and hosiery in a masculine way in public.

Here is another interesting site for you.

I thought that Fiona and Michael would enjoy talking with me about my experiences.
I have taken the liberty of attaching photos of myself, wearing hosiery and shorts.
