Vancouver Forum: new immgrant looking for friends

Hi there,

actually, i have been immigrated to canada for years, but still cannot get out from my own community
i am a quiet and boring guy and my english is bad. I would like to hang out with some friends who are pure english speakers and who know where to find excitements in vancouver
so that, i can practice my english and learn more about the main stream culture
i am 2X years old. it would be better if you are around my age.
if you can help, i can pay for all your traveling, entertainment and food money (within my budget.. lol)

Be careful there Ric, people out there that'll rip you off in a heartbeat. Don't announce to people that you'll pay for things, 'cause they'll sit back and let you even if they're better off than you.

Take up a sport that you may like, this is a nice way of meeting people doing the things you like to do. Take a course at a local college doing something fun, like a English class you are bound to meet people like yourself there.
