This is an amazing "picture". No, not because it's Obama's inauguration! It is 1,474 megapixels, comprised of 220 images. It works like google Earth or maps. Even though there are thousands of people, you can pan around and zoom in to see every single person close up.

A lioness is pictured here walking protectively beside an oryx calf in this northern Kenyan game reserve. The lioness had been protecting the calf for two weeks before a lion killed and ate the young antelope.
