I am posing this question for all you DVers. Is she hot or just cute? Is it worth going to watch DaVinci Code because of her?

I agree with you Canuckette. The French know a thing or two about what beauty really is, that's why they are such great artists. Audrey Tautou is more beautiful than 99% of the Hollywood actressess, and she has great talent. Yet surprisingly she is not well known over here, because Hollywood doesn't really know how to market her cause she is not flashy or outspoken and trashy like the other actresses over here.

I think it's cool that the Seignier sisters are sex symbols in France.  Same with Charlotte Rampling and Jane Birkin.  You don't have to be young, stunning or a stick figure to be considered beautiful. 

Watch the movie those pix of Audrey Tautou in pigtails is from (Venus Beaute Institute), you'll see famous French actresses in their 50s and 60s who look fabulous.  Tautou plays a bimbo character who gets screwed over by a rich older man (while cheating on her boyfriend).  The main character is a middle-aged woman (Nathalie Baye) who ends up with a hot young guy (the French even do chick flix better).

To all the ladies... do you think Audrey Tautou is attractive? What qualities of her's do you find attractive?
