i am planning to take a trip to thailand.
please recommend a travel agency dealing specifically with the thailand's airfare, accommodation, etc - thanks!!!
or, is it easier to book an individual air ticket (vancouver to bangkok ???) and then find a private accommd.?
another Q: where to stay? there are soooooo many great islands and beaches so i need some help and advice. (i read phuket is woefully overpriced and very heavily touristed).

Go to Ko Chang, beautiful and not too developed at the moment. In Bangkok, try the Asia Hotel. It's not five star, but its a reasonable large tourist hotel walking distance from MBK (Mah Boon Krong) and other shopping places.
Don't go to Phuket or Pattaya, that really isn't Thailand.
