Considered one of the best place in the city to fly a kite or perhaps watch someone else use there talent as they swim boldly through the air. As a visitor you can marvel at the fancy loops, swirls and dips by the seashore. The Views of the water and downtown makes Vanier Park a great place to just sit quietly and enjoy the outdoors.

Vanier Park is considered a large park with surrounding 35 hectares of land at the south end of the Burrard bridge, was set aside in 1877 as a reserve for the Squamish people. But in 1913, the B.C. government, under Conservative premier Richard McBride, decided they would like to use that land for Vancouver’s growth.
Vanier Park located five minutes from downtown and is home to the Pacific Space Centre - Vancouver, Vancouver Museum, and Vancouver Maritime Museum.
