Collection holdings include archaeology, ethnology, textiles, furnishings, and items significant to agriculture, fishing, transportation, recreation, communications, business and technology. Public and education programs include walking/bus and facility tours, guest speakers, hands-on workshops, education kits, and a discovery area for children. There is also a heritage reference library, locally produced videos and published series of five heritage tours in the City which are available for purchase.

The Richmond Museum features a wide range of collections, temporary and travelling exhibits, programs, and special events for people of all ages. The purpose of these activities is to increase public awareness and appreciation of Richmond's diverse history. The Museum plays a role as a resource to heritage and cultural groups and offers volunteer opportunities to the community.

Saturday and Sunday 10 AM - 5 PM
